Three moments to explore
Keep your attention on the round

0:59 — Watch the bag-mounted setup. Gonzo describes reducing tripod setup and manual recording steps.
Review a decision over water
1:27 — Watch the club-selection discussion. Explore how shot context fits into an on-course conversation.
Relive the highlights

4:24 — Watch round highlights and replays. See the footage and shot-tracer presentation shown in the video.
This is a beta demonstration of a development-stage workflow; the shown experience and participant observations are not a guarantee that every swing will be detected or recorded. Check current product and campaign details for available features.
How does hands-free golf recording fit into a round?
At 0:59, Gonzo shows the bag-mounted setup and explains the friction of recording alone: setting a tripod, remembering to press record and staying in frame. He describes how automatic capture and editing reduce that manual work.
The video also shows a club-selection discussion for a shot over water, followed by a review of a rightward miss. Gonzo connects the on-course replay to a previous range session’s 3D motion feedback. The demonstration illustrates a practice-to-course workflow, rather than establishing that a particular club recommendation or diagnosis will be correct for every golfer.

Technical notes, battery and package information
Battery experience versus the specification
At 4:06, Gonzo reports a remaining battery percentage and describes his experience across rounds. That is an observation in this video, not a universal runtime promise. The current published specification is Course Mode up to 6 hours and Range Mode up to 3 hours; actual runtime varies with use and operating conditions.
Questions about recording your golf round
Is this an independent performance test?
No. This video is published by BirdieSense and presents the demonstrated workflow and Gonzo’s experience. It does not provide an independently controlled battery, measurement-accuracy or scoring-improvement test.
Are the mounting accessories automatically included?
Check the selected reward or package and current accessory information. The mounting setup shown in a demonstration should not be used as a substitute for the package contents on the product or campaign page.

0:10 What's up, guys? I'm Gonzo. I'm out here at Angeles National.
0:13 Usually I play by myself, but today is going to be a little bit different because I got my pal
0:17 right here, BirdieSense. And today we're going to emphasize, one, recording and capturing it so
0:23 I can post it and show you guys later. But mainly, I want to see my distance control,
0:27 the spin rate, and then how far it goes. So, with BirdieSense, it's going to be perfect.
0:41 Oh, go in. Wait, no. Actually, go in. Oh! Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.
0:59 So, what I like about BirdieSense is that it comes with its own tripod. And you see how
1:04 it's set up right here. I don't have to set up my tripod anymore. It's hands-free. Literally, just
1:09 leave the bag right here and just swing, and it'll record it every time. And the hassle of being by
1:14 yourself—I have to press record, I forget to press record, or sometimes I'm out of the frame. But I
1:20 know with BirdieSense, it captures all that, and it edits for me, right? So, it's actually perfect.
1:27 All right. So, we got water in play here. About 200 yards into the wind. You have
1:34 bunkers protecting the tucked pin. In between clubs. I think I'm going to go 7-iron here.
1:41 All right. So, BirdieSense is not messing around. They just pulled up
1:45 all the data models from the hundreds of shots that I hit on the range,
1:49 and it's telling me that my average carry won't carry this water. So, definitely got to go
1:56 a club up here. And instead of using my 7, let's go 6-iron. All right, let's do it.
2:04 Oh my gosh. Go. What a shot. That's money. That is money. That's actually money.
2:14 That was actually a great shot. Wow.
2:31 What are we doing? It's going to the right. Why is it going to the right?
2:45 All right, let's see what the phone says. All right,
2:49 stats and replay is saying that I have a 4-degree open clubface on the front side and swing path.
2:57 Okay, actually, no, that's right. That's right.
2:58 Back on the range, I remember when I used BirdieSense, and the 3D tracking was telling
3:02 me that my hips were stalling on my backswing—on the downswing, actually—and then the clubface
3:09 opens up. Okay, so now, one look at this, I got it. I got it. Oh my gosh.
3:24 So, see, that's why I love BirdieSense so much, because at the range it's giving me real-time data
3:31 and data analysis with 3D motion analysis. And now, when we're here on the course,
3:36 it's giving me a video replay of my swing, and it's also helping me break down
3:41 all the analysis right there in real time. So, let's see if I can make this putt.
3:53 [Music]
3:54 There we go.
4:05 [Music]
4:06 Oh, look at that. After four and a half hours, it's still at 55%.
4:11 See, that's why BirdieSense is amazing, because two full rounds this week and it's still at 55%.
4:17 And it's very convenient. Just pop it right in your bag, pop it right out. Perfect. It's perfect.
4:23 The best feeling in the world as a golfer is coming back to the lounge, looking at your
4:28 round summary, and feeling satisfied. And that's what it felt like today, thanks to BirdieSense.
4:32 BirdieSense not only captured every single shot and gave me breakdowns of each stat that I was
4:39 looking for in the beginning of the round; it also captured video replays of every single shot. Like,
4:44 look at this birdie—birdie putt at 18—and then my bunker save on 14. It's the best because it
4:51 also auto-edited all the highlight clips, and I don't need to do anything. It's perfect.
4:59 BirdieSense truly bridges the gap between what you practice on the range and executing it on
5:04 the golf course. It really feels like you're not alone out there. Like, I was playing by myself,
5:09 but it felt like I had a companion the entire time. It's not just about tracking numbers
5:14 or getting all these stats and data. It's really about helping you play smarter, better, and having
5:20 a good time. So, get yourself a BirdieSense, and I'll see you guys out on the course.
